University Technical College in Northwood
Proud of our students' results and destinations.
We are proud of the effort our students put into their studies and the results they achieve, as well as the exciting destinations they go on to. Several students have landed apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships at prestigious firms, while others have gained places at leading universities.
UTC Heathrow was awarded a Good rating in all areas following its Ofsted inspection in February 2023, with inspectors especially impressed by the careers focus and good relationships throughout the school.
96% of UTC Heathrow students leaving at 18 stayed in education, employment or training, compared to a national average of 88%, and 80% went on to university compared to a national average of 50%.
I am really pleased with the fantastic results achieved by our students. The vast majority of the students have secured their first choice universities and apprenticeships – the hard work has certainly paid off.
